Current Positions Available:
Full-Time Primary Care/Sports Medicine Medical Assistant:
Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm.
For consideration, applicants must have at least ONE year of experience in a Medical Office setting (Primary Care &/or Sports
Medicine/Orthopaedic experience preferred):
- Checking-in Patients (Obtaining Vital Signs Manually)
- Phlebotomy
- Lab Testing
- Administering Injections/Vaccines
- Performing X-Rays
- Splints/Casts
- Medical Terminology and Procedures
- HIPAA, OSHA, MIPS, CPR
- Medication Prior-Authorizations
- Answering a Busy Multi-Line Phone System/Voicemails, Klara Communications System, Faxing and Scanning
Experience with Cerner Power Chart preferred.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience Required:
- Electronic Health/Medical Records: 1 year
- Patient Check In/Triage (Vital Signs, BP, etc): 1 year
- Phlebotomy (Venipuncture/Blood Draw Collection): 1 year
- Laboratory Testing: 1 year
- Medication/Injection/Vaccine Administration (PO & IM): 1 year
- X-Ray: 1 year
- Sterile (Surgical) Procedure Assistance (Sutures/I&D): 1 year
- Pharmacy/Insurance Prescription Prior Authorization: 1 year
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant Certificate (Preferred)
