Clint McEntyre, MD
Dr. Clint McEntyre founded NorthRiver Primary Care Associates in 2009 with Dr. Steve Lovelady. A native of Georgia, Dr. McEntyre earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Georgia. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham in 1995, and completed residency training in Family Medicine in Tuscaloosa through the University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences.
Before entering private practice, Dr. McEntyre served the Tuscaloosa and Northport communities as an emergency medicine physician for seven years. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Southern Medical Association, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, Tuscaloosa County Medical Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. McEntyre has lived in Tuscaloosa for almost twenty years. He and his wife, Rena, have three children. They enjoy an active lifestyle, and are involved in the community through their schools, church, and various social events, arts, and sports.
Scott Kemp, DO, MS, FAAFP
Dr. Kemp is the founder of Tuscaloosa Family Medicine. Dr Kemp expanded his practice in 2015 by merging with NorthRiver Primary Care Associates. A native to Alabama growing up in Hueytown, he enjoyed traveling during his educational training; attending the University of Alaska, where he met his wife Laurie. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science (BS) in biochemistry and molecular biology. He went on to attend graduate school at the University of Alaska Natural Health Sciences, graduating with a Master of Science (MS) in biochemistry and molecular biology with special emphasis in Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) protein isolation. Following graduate school, he attended medical school at A.T. Still University Health Sciences in Missouri and Arizona. After Medical school graduation, Dr. Kemp pursued his postgraduate specialty training in Family Medicine at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency.
Dr. Kemp is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and is Board Certified Diplomat in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr Kemp holds the highest honor among family physicians; Degree of Fellow of The American Academy of Family Practice, FAAFP.
Dr. Kemp is an avid marathon runner and a proud proponent of active lifestyles. He and his wife Laurie have two sons, Scott Jr and Jackie whom keep them very busy in their spare time with sports and activities.
Rudy Harrison, DO
Dr. Ronald “Rudy” Harrison Jr. joined NorthRiver Primary Care Associates in 2021. Dr. Harrison is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and has lived here for the majority of his life. He attended The University of Alabama, earning his bachelors degree in biological sciences. After graduating from the University, Dr. Harrison earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Suwanee, GA.
Dr. Harrison is dual board certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program. He also completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at The University of Alabama, working closely with Alabama athletics. Dr. Harrison specializes in musculoskeletal disorders in both the athlete and non athlete, joint injections, and diagnostic ultrasound.
Dr. Harrison enjoys spending time out on Lake Tuscaloosa with his dog, Molly. His faith, family, and friends are very important in his life and is excited about being a health care provider in his home town.

Amy Wyatt, CRNP
Amy McCool Wyatt is a Certified Registered Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Alabama in 2006 and received her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree (MSN/CRNP) from the University of Alabama, Birmingham in 2011. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner for the past seven years and was previously a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at DCH. Amy is a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa and feels blessed to be a health care provider for her community. She and her husband, David, are the proud parents of four children.
